Stephanie Belseth APRN, CPNP

Stephanie Belseth is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years experience in inpatient and outpatient primary care, pulmonology, asthma, early childhood screening, and neurodevelopmental disorders.  Prior to her current work at Newbridge Clinic beginning in 2009, she worked at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis, Children’s Hospital in Oakland CA, the MN Department of Health, and the Minneapolis Public Schools.  She has advanced training and experience in integrative, functional medicine, natural, and biomedical approaches to managing pediatric health and developmental conditions with a focus on children with special needs and complex chronic pediatric conditions.

Stephanie has a special interest in preventing health and developmental issues in children through pre-conception testing, counselling and interventions with parents before becoming pregnant, optimal pregnancy nutrition and care, and early intervention for infants, toddlers and young children with neurodevelopmental disorders.  She focuses on balancing the microbiome and treating underlying medical conditions and imbalances in children in order to help them reverse symptoms and function optimally at the highest level possible.  She uses principals of nutrition, holistic/integrative medicine, functional medicine, biomedical medicine, mind-body-spirit medicine and nutri-genomics in her work, and is a great coach in helping children and families with lifestyle changes that support optimal health and healing.  She has a special interest in holistic wellness care, Gastrointestinal disorders, Autism, ADHD, Asthma, mental health disorders, PANS/PANDAS, Autoimmune disease, Pediatric Lyme and conditions that mimic it, and other complex chronic pediatric conditions. 


Stephanie is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), The Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM),  the MN Holistic Medicine Group, the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS), and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.  She is a member of the speaking faculty for Food As Medicine through the Center for Mind Body Healing, has completed advanced level clinician trainings sponsored by the Autism Research Institute, is a MAPS provider and a candidate for fellowship through the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS).  She has completed the ILADS practitioner training program and has also studied integrative modalities for the treatment of chronic lyme disease, and related disorders.  She has mentored with pediatrician, Elizabeth Mumper MD at the Rimland Center for Integrative Medicine, Ann Corson MD of Kennett Square, PA, and Richard Horrowitz MD of the Hudson Valley Center for Healing Arts, among several other physicians and practitioners, and regularly attends a variety of conferences in order to keep up on the latest research and treatment for children with a variety of different conditions.  She is a sought-after public speaker, and enjoys precepting and teaching.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, enjoying the outdoors, organic-whole-foods cooking, volunteering, running, biking, reading, and entertaining family and friends.

Catherine Dolan MD

Dr. Dolan MD is a board-certified family physician with extensive experience in family medicine, and more than 15 years of interest, courses, study groups and membership in holistic and integrative medicine organizations.  She practiced for 22 years in 2 small independent family practice groups in Minneapolis and most recently 4 years at Fairview Clinics- Riverside, when they purchased her former practice, Riverside Family Physicians.  She joined Newbridge Clinic in 2014 and is passionate about integrative and functional medicine as a means of achieving vibrant health and vitality for her patients.

She was born in Minneapolis and currently lives in the house she grew up in.  She attended Mundelein College in Chicago and earned a BS in Chemistry, spent a year in Columbus, Ohio as a VISTA volunteer working with the federal food programs, and then returned to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota for Medical School.  After completing a Family Medicine residency at Fairview-St Mary’s, she became Board certified in Family Medicine.  She has worked part time since that time to allow plenty of time for her family, husband and four children, and other interests including participating in parish and school activities, environmental issues, sustainable agriculture, yoga and basketball.

 Dr Dolan was board certified in Holistic Medicine in 2001 and regularly attends the Minnesota Holistic Medical group meetings.  Further study includes Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice and advanced practice modules through the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM), the study of epigenetics and nutri-genomics, The International Lyme and Related Diseases Society (ILADS), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction classes and meditation training and practice with the Center for Mind Body Medicine, Ocean Compassionate Dharma Center, and with the Global Institute of Energy Healing Technology.  She enjoys using the above principles to work with patients and families to improve their physical and mental health, and prevent or resolve chronic health conditions.  She has a special interest in helping those with mental health and chronic health conditions of all types, and is excited to have the time to listen closely to patients’ story and symptoms, assessing health in mind, body and spirit, and crafting a plan together that leads to the maximum health for each individual.


Mara Liss MD

Dr. Liss is board certified in general pediatrics and received her education at Tufts University in Boston where she was on the Dean’s list, and at the University of Minnesota Medical School where she was honored by the Gold Humanism Society award.  She completed her Residency through the University of Minnesota, and completed a post-graduate fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2011 .

She is passionate about integrative medicine, which blends the best of traditional, complementary and alternative medicine, and is based on the belief that the human body has innate healing ability.  Integrative medicine not only addresses a child’s symptoms, but also the social, psychological, environmental and spiritual aspects of health and illness.  Dr. Liss believes in empowering children and families in their own care and in providing parents with health care choices that have been shown to to be safe and effective.

Dr. Liss has experience in pediatric primary care, integrative medicine, laboratory science, has conducted research on probiotics and constipation, as well as HIV/AIDS research and research on the use of complementary therapies in cancer.  She has a special interest in integrative and functional medicine, aromatherapy, heart math, and holistic approaches to pediatric care.  She has enjoyed participating as medical staff at Camp Needlepoint diabetes camp and Camp Superkids asthma camp, and as a volunteer at the Uptown Community Center the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic, and the Genesis II Teen Mothers Program.

Mara is married and has a 4 year old daughter.  She loves to read, spend time with her family, and enjoys the outdoors and traveling.
